Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a dreamwork session?
$110 for a 60 minute online session.

Is Somatic Dreamwork considered a form of therapy?
Somatic Dreamwork is not therapy in the traditional sense. While traditional therapy founded on a medical model of doctors healing patients has its place, Somatic Therapy begins with the foundation that your being and your dreams are already in a state of health. Like a midwife, my role is to assist you in bringing unconscious contents into the light. However, because dreamwork can bring forward trauma or unresolved issues from the past, dreamwork done in conjunction with traditional therapy can be a powerful catalyst for inner transformation.

How often should we work together?

We can tailor frequency to your specific needs, but clients typically find spacing appointments every 1-2 weeks allows enough time to have new dreams to work with.

I am interested in dreamwork but rarely remember my dreams.

Can I still do dreamwork?

We will work with methods to help you remember and have more and clearer dreams. It is also very beneficial to work with fragments of dreams and fantasy images which Jung called active imagination.

I am interested in lucid dreaming. Can you help with that?

While lucid dreaming is not a personal goal of mine, I can help with techniques to encourage lucidity in the dream state. I believe that both lucid and non-lucid dreams are equally valuable mediums for inner work.
